Envirofriendly Recycling (EMEA) Limited is a textile recycling company, focusing on reducing the amount of clothing going into landfill, recirculating items where possible, as well as helping those in developing countries.

Due to expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a van driver to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will travel around the Hull and East Yorkshire area collecting clothing contributions from our textile banks and transporting them back to our warehouse in Beverley. When you’re not on the road, you’ll be asked to help our warehouse team with various tasks in the warehouse.

What are we looking for?

Applicants must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years and have no more than 6 points.

You will have previous experience driving a van.

A self-motivated attitude.

You will be friendly and approachable and will be a great ambassador of our brand as you will be the face of our company every day in the local community.

Please note that this role involves heavy lifting.

Hours of work:
8:30am - 5:30pm
Monday - Friday
£9.00 per hour

Have you recently had a clear out of your wardrobes? Have you got bags of clothes in good condition but you're not sure where to take them, with the charity shops being closed? Why not take them to your local textile recycling bank so that they can be recycled and recirculated in developing countries?!

🚨 NEW BANKS ALERT! 🚨
The team have had a busy week organising and installing a whole host of new banks in the Kingswood and Sutton Fields areas on behalf of Hull City Council! Textile banks have been installed at the following locations:

- Richmond Way
- Barnes Way
- Kingsbury Way (in the park near to the play area)
- Gibraltar Road (near the Cineworld and KFC)
- Selset Way
- Ladybower Way

We hope that these banks are well used and raise plenty of funds for Hull City Council's fantastic initiatives.

NOTE: Please remember that the banks are just to be used for clothes, shoes and accessories such as belts, hats and handbags. We are unable to recycle duvets, pillows, curtains and other bedding so please do not use these banks to dispose of those items.

These are the type of photographs that we love to see here at Envirofriendly! A full bank 😍 This one is at the Hornsea Inshore Rescue headquarters on Burton Road.

Our team are out every day collecting from banks across the Hull and East Riding area and we are delighted with the number of donations our banks are receiving and extremely pleased to be able to support the fantastic charities that we work with.
