We're looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine quality checks across the production process, including grading, packing, and storage, reporting to the QA Manager and Technical Manager.
• Record data in line with BRCGS, HACCP, and customer specifications.
• Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions alongside the QA Manager.
• Liaise with production, technical, and cleaning teams to maintain high standards.
• Support traceability exercises and product recalls as required.
• Assist with internal and external audits (BRCGS, customer audits, etc.).

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or quality assurance role is preferred; however full training will be given.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and record-keeping abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office, data entry systems).
• Own transport essential

6-8 hours per day
Duties include egg collecting and the welfare of the birds.
Poultry experience desired but full training will be given.

****Night time cleaners and packing operatives now filled****

Due to our expansion we are recruiting additional staff to join our current team. Please see below the jobs we are currently recruiting for:

Night Time Cleaners - Hours negotiable, however this will be after evening production has finished. This job entails cleaning of the production area in our egg packing centre and distribution areas. Candidates must not mind a messy job as it does involve egg and have good attention to detail to meet the high cleaning standards required.

Packing Centre Operative - 2PM -10PM are the hours for this role. This will entail working in our egg packing centre on the end of the production line, packing eggs to fulfil orders for our customers.

Afternoon Quality Assurance Assistant - Part time role. Hours negotiable to meet the business needs. This role entails quality assurance testing and compliance checks. This candidate needs to have a good eye for details, be self motivated and happy to work alone. No previous quality assurance needed as full training will be provided.

Paul also works for Eggsell in our offices here, he deals with all things Transport and Logistics, making sure our large scale orders are on the trucks and delivered in time and arranging collections from our egg producers.
