Can ONE circulation pump really heat a house this size? 🏠🔥

Yes—but it all comes down to getting the design right!

For this project, the circulation pump built inside the Ideal HP290 heat pump moves water around the entire heating system. No unnecessary additional pumps and no overly complicated setup.

Before starting the installation, we carefully designed the pipework, radiator connections, flow rates and pipe sizes to make sure the system would perform correctly.

One heat pump.
One internal circulation pump.
One massive house.

Can ONE air-conditioning unit cool an entire home—and could solar panels make it practically FREE to run? ☀️❄️😎

In our latest YouTube video, I put both questions to the test in my own home.

Using real performance data, we look at:

✅ How much electricity the air-con unit consumes
✅ Whether the solar panels can cover that demand
✅ How effectively one indoor unit cools multiple rooms
✅ Why the position of the unit and the property layout matter
✅ Whether modern air conditioning could provide affordable home comfort

When solar generation is high enough, the electricity used by the air con can potentially be covered by the energy being generated on the roof—making cooling your home incredibly cost-effective.
