We’ve had so many amazing speakers at Online Boss Babes over the last couple of years, and I’m excited that for next week’s session we’ll be joined by financial advisor Paula Briley-Dean 👏

In her mini masterclass ‘Financial MOT - What’s Missing?’ she’ll be taking a simple, jargon-free look at the financial foundations that matter most, helping to spot potential gaps, protect what you’ve built and plan for the life you want 🙌

Online Boss Babes is also the easiest, cheapest and most effective way to really broaden your connections across the whole of the ever-growing community - with no travel and a chance to keep cosy at home on the computer 💻

And just like the in-person sessions, it’s full of conversation and connection-building (via Breakout Rooms) with lovely, likeminded women in business.

Just under TWO WEEKS to go until our next Bexhill Boss Babes meeting!

On account of half term at the end of the month, our October session on Friday 16th seems to have come around really fast, so I wanted to make sure you knew it was coming up soon…

Our guest host this time is the lovely Laura Lawes from Mouse & Meg, who will be there to welcome newcomers and keep the informal (but still kinda structured) morning on track, giving you the opportunity to share about your business but also get support, ideas, advice and motivation for behind the scenes… 👏

The same and yet different.

Bexhill Boss Babes celebrated its milestone meeting with a THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY this Friday 🙌👏🎉

And taking a look at the photos, I see that nothing has changed … in the BEST possible way!

We might have changed venues, but it’s still a place for female business owners from in and around Bexhill to show up, make new connections, talk freely and openly about their business (and all that’s going on behind it), and feel supported 🫶

This one was even hosted by the OG and first ever attendee The Green Queen, who stepped up to support me and the group, ensuring that it continues to thrive and that the same ethos, values and vibe are there today as they were from that first very meeting 👌

I can also see many familiar faces who have been attending regularly over the last few years - without them, the community falls apart. Because getting to nurture genuine friendships long after those first introductions to strangers is the accidental BEST benefit of all ❤️

And I also see new attendees too, which again, are super important to Bexhill Boss Babes, because it’s your new energy that keeps things vital and exciting ☺️

So THANKYOU to all the attendees who came along to celebrate with Charlotte, and thankyou to our fab venue The Compass (and for the yummy lemon drizzle cake too! 🍰)

So here’s to Bexhill Boss Babes, where it all began… and here’s to many more years of coffee morning catchups and brilliant business being done 🙌🥂

WOW 🤩

Never did I think I would be typing this caption when I first decided to set up a local networking group for women in business in Bexhill back in 2023…

But 3 years, 36 sessions, 3 venues, 1 evening social and over 300 attendees later, here we are!

After my move to Nottingham, I hoped the group would continue on in my absence and thanks to the guest hosts who have stepped up to support me, I am delighted that Bexhill Boss Babes has now reached this massive milestone 🙏🙌

Looking back at the photos and moments captured in this reel has reminded me that community is EVERYTHING when it comes to being self-employed.

Together we’ve ridden the highs and lows, celebrated successes, wins and qualifications, supported each other through teary, wobbly moments, and forged many wonderful friendships too.

To every single woman who has showed up to be a part of this, thankyou 🙏 - I think you’re fabulous and it’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know you 🩷

This month marks a very special moment in the journey story of the Boss Babes community - it's the THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Bexhill Boss Babes, where it all began...!

I can't believe how much has happened since I sat with The Green Queen and Freedom with Corrinne in the Colonnade Cafe back in 2023... and just how many amazing women I have met since then.

And I very much want to see YOU back at the table (now at the wonderful The Compass instead) for the celebratory session on FRIDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER 10am-12pm, hosted by the lovely Charlotte 😊

The session itself will run like our usual groups do, with group introductions and casual mingling, so newcomers are very much welcome. But it would be lovely to see some familiar faces back at the table too...

Ready or not… September is here.

I’m sure you’re feeling out of the loop, mentally sluggish and/or not feeling the whole ‘back to business’ thing yet (or maybe that’s just me..!)
