Today, we're celebrating 16 years of High Spec Composites!

A huge thank you to our fantastic team, past and present, and to everyone who has supported us along the way. Building a business is never a solo effort, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who has played a part in our journey.

We're proud of what we've achieved together and even more excited about what lies ahead. We have some very exciting months ahead and can't wait to share more soon... 🥂

What a fantastic evening celebrating the very best of apprenticeship talent across Oxfordshire at the 2026 Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards.

As the awards marked their 10th anniversary year, it was inspiring to see so many outstanding , and recognised for their achievements and commitment to developing .

High Spec Composites is incredibly proud to have supported the awards for the tenth consecutive year. Our Executive Director and Co-Founder, Sarah Jaycock, was delighted to once again serve on the organising committee and co-host the event alongside Simon Newton, helping to celebrate the remarkable success stories that make these awards so special.

We're also proud to continue our tradition of donating the iconic illuminated LED balloon centrepieces. Guests were invited to take a centrepiece home at the end of the evening in exchange for a donation to Style Acre, the 2026 charity partner chosen by headline sponsor Shirley Popham of Popham Hairdressing, helping to raise additional funds for a fantastic local cause.

Congratulations to all the finalists, highly commended entrants and winners. Your dedication, ambition and achievements demonstrate the enormous value of apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and our wider community.

High Spec is proud to sponsor Team Bardwell – a fantastic, student-led racing kart team delivered through the national STEM On Track programme, facilitated by The Engineering Trust at Bardwell School, Bicester.

Through this inspiring initiative, students at Bardwell School will design, build and showcase a fully functioning racing kart. Along the way, they’ll develop practical engineering skills, confidence, teamwork, and real-world workplace behaviours.

Most importantly, this project provides young people with SEND the opportunity to engage in meaningful, hands-on STEM learning - opening doors to future careers and demonstrating what can be achieved with the right support.

We’re delighted to play a small part in powering the next generation of engineers.

We’ve seen fantastic success rates at both Intermediate and Advanced levels, and we’ve had the privilege of helping launch many careers in industries where talent and practical experience are truly valued. 🏎️
