Back behind the saw and doing what I love. 🪚🌳

There’s something pretty satisfying about taking a log that could easily be overlooked and seeing what’s hiding inside.

Every tree is different. Different grain, different character and different possibilities, and that’s a big part of why I still enjoy what I do. It’s good to be back making sawdust!

Drumroll please............... 🔥🌳

A few weeks ago, I stood looking at what was left of the Treecycle workshop after a devastating fire and genuinely thought that was it.

I made the incredibly difficult decision to cease trading.

It’s been a tough few weeks. There’s been a lot to deal with, a lot to think about and, if I’m honest, a few moments when walking away would probably have been the easier option.

But where’s the fun in that? 😁

So, after a bit of dusting myself off (there was quite a lot of dust), I’ve decided it’s time to do what any self-respecting timber man would do and ‘Rise from the ashes’. 🔥🪵

TREECYCLE IS BACK!

Things might look a little different for a while, but I’m ready to get the saw turning again and get back to what I love which is making sure good timber doesn’t go to waste.

I also need to say a huge thank you to everyone who has called, messaged, checked in, offered help or simply told me to keep going. The support has been incredible.

Right then…I’ve got some trees to mill. 🪚🌳

Unfortunately, due to a fire at our workshop this morning, I've had to make the difficult decision to cease trading with immediate effect.

I would like to thank all of my customers, suppliers, friends, and supporters for your loyalty and support over the years. It has been a privilege to work with so many wonderful people and to be part of so many projects.

Thank you also to the emergency services for their quick response this morning.
