Mega busy start to 2026!

First day started of as a few jobs in and around the snow and some sledging !

We’ve had new appliances out and plenty of repairs aswell.

2026 also marked 10 years since I started DJB appliances repairs, spending the first 5 years down in Leicester working with my Dad and then being back in my hometown of Biddulph for the last 5 years.

We have never used paid advertisement yet, only using Facebook and Google, a lot of our customers have come from your reviews and word of mouth which I really appreciate as I know we are lucky in Biddulph to have other great businesses in the trade, so thankyou very much for your kind words and recommendations . As a thankyou we will be doing a little give away so watch this space 😀

❗ Urgent recall: check your tumble dryer as urgent safety warning issued

The National Fire Chiefs Council is asking people to check their tumble dryers after urgent safety alerts were issued for eight brands over concerns they could pose a fire risk.

Owners of the appliances must stop using the tumble dryers and switch off and unplug the tumble dryer if you can.

My Dad Tim who taught me everything I know, unfortunately suddenly past away a few weeks ago, he had a domestic appliance repairs and sales business like me in Leicester, so I’m currently in between Biddulph and Leicester helping to close down my Dads company so I won’t be as active as normal but will aim to get back to your messages and calls as soon as I can
