A little apology to the village!

Sorry for the unexpected trailer parade this morning! We had 10 trailers and trucks return to the workshop following their hire by 42 Commando at RMB Chivenor.

We appreciate it may have caused a bit of disruption, so next time we’ll try not to move the entire fleet through the village at once!

Thanks for bearing with us, and apologies to anyone who got caught up in our little convoy!

🎄 It’s hard to believe we’re already talking about Christmas! 🎄

We’ve got just over 9 weeks until the workshop closes for Christmas, and our diary is already starting to fill up!

If you’ve been meaning to get your trailer serviced, have a few jobs that need doing, or simply want to get everything checked over before the winter, now is a good time to get booked in.

We’re a small, family-run business and we really do appreciate everyone who chooses to use us, whether you’ve been coming to us for years or you’re using North Devon Trailers for the first time.

We’ll do our best to get everyone looked after before Christmas, but once the diary is full, it’s full!

Give us a call on 07969 917149 or drop us a message to get your trailer booked in.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

ANOTHER WHOPPER HEADING OUT THE DOOR!

Another brand-new Ifor Williams flatbed leaving North Devon Trailers today, and this one really is a beast!

At a massive 20ft x 8ft, this is the biggest flatbed in the Ifor Williams range.

As some of you will know, the Tarka brand is growing from strength to strength, and their team needed a trailer versatile enough to handle just about anything. Cars, vans, minibuses or even a 20ft shipping container — this trailer is built to take it all in its stride!

When you need serious carrying capacity and versatility, this is one impressive bit of kit.

Looking for a new trailer? Whether it's a flatbed, cattle trailer, horsebox or car transporter, we've got you covered.

Buy from the local experts.

Buy with confidence.

Ever get the feeling you’re being watched?

It’s not very often we go mobile these days, but sometimes the trailer simply can’t come to us — so we go to it.

This time we were helping the guys at Exmoor chiller hire, getting them back up and running after a little scuff with a tractor.

If you have a trailer that needs a repair or is due a service, get in touch.

Ifor Williams TA510 10ft Cattle Trailer

A really nice, genuine TA510 that is in excellent condition for its age.

We have recently carried out a full service on this trailer and have spent £800 getting it right. Everything works as it should and it is ready to use.

These smaller TA510s don't come up for sale very often, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find them in this sort of condition.

£2,150

We’re currently looking to buy HB510s and HB511s as we have a number of customers actively looking to purchase, and we’re struggling to find enough trailers!

We’re interested in ANY condition — so if you’ve got a trailer that needs a bit of TLC, don’t assume it’s not worth selling.

In fact, we love buying trailers that need work!

If you’ve been putting off selling because you think you need to repair it first, DON’T! We’re happy to take trailers that need repairs, refurbishment or a bit of love.

We buy trailers in all conditions
Repairs needed? No problem!
HB510s & HB511s particularly wanted

We got a call from the MOD asking if we could supply 10 trailers for a 5-week hire.

They told us they had tried everywhere — including Ifor Williams HQ — but nobody could help.

Typically, when most people say “no”, Rob tends to say “yes”!

So, Rob has been busy travelling the country, picking up horseboxes and box trailers — exactly what they needed. Meanwhile, the workshop team have been working overtime to get everything serviced, checked and ready to go.

Rob delivered the first two trailers to RMB Chivenor last week, giving them the opportunity to go through the trailers and carry out familiarisation training.

The remaining 8 trailers are all ready for collection tomorrow afternoon.

Another slightly unusual request successfully sorted!

And the good news is that these trailers will now be available for long-term hire, with a minimum hire period of just one month.

So, if you're looking for cheap, flexible trailer hire without committing to a long-term purchase, get in touch with us.

If we've got it, we'll hire it!
