This September, Danny, from our Bideford branch, and three friends are heading to Kathmandu, Nepal to take on the ultimate challenge: Mount Everest Base Camp.

This isn't just a hike, it’s a grueling 13 day trek covering over 130km on foot, reaching a staggering altitude of 5,364m.

The group is taking on the challenge to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that is incredibly close to their hearts. The charity has provided invaluable support to their loved ones during the toughest times, and Danny and his friends want to give back so they can continue their amazing work.
