As well as receiving nice reviews / comments I feel giving relatives of clients feedback is vital too and keep them informed about their loved ones care and well being.
If I'm worried about a client or think something's not right I don't hesitate in giving my feedback to them.
Odd job Friday was hanging pictures, mirrors, curtain poles and taking apart an old bed and assembling a new one.

Why do I love my job? Here's why… bear with me!

This week has included:

Taking a lovely chap shopping and enjoying a good chat.

Helping an elderly lady access the community so she can attend her walking group.

Helping a 97-year-old chap pottering about in his workshop.

Taking a lonely gentleman out for coffee and conversation.

A trip to the pub for a pint and a game of pool.

Visiting a fantastic 99-year-old at Kenwith and joining in with the art class!

Visiting a gentleman in his nursing home who has no family or friends visiting. I'm his only visitor.

Squeezing in an odd job repairing a sunken floor, earning a lovely review in the process!

And the feedback? All positive!

I thoroughly enjoyed my week with 2 new companionship visit clients, who were both very grateful for getting out and about and the companionship ( as well as my regulars ).
Odd jobs including more curtain poles at Yellands new builds, putting up shelves etc...and a nice review !

What a crazy week...all the regular clients and 2 new companionship visit clients booked in for next week.
Loads of little odd jobs including curtain poles and tv bracket for a new build in Yelland.

More happy clients this week, and a new client taken on who's booked a couple of hours companionship visit , shopping trip and cleaning.
Only a couple of odd jobs including putting this shed together, I've never seen so many screws !!

It's been a great week of home help including taking clients shopping, taking to hospital/doctors appointments etc, as well as an hours ironing !! and some really rewarding companionship visits.
Odd jobs including a couple of flat packs, putting up shelves etc.
