After taking part in a couple of craft fairs last year, I realised I didn't have any 'Get well soon' cards so I recycled my cute penguin design and here we are. I guess I'd rather not have need for too many get well soon cards but just so your loved ones know you're thinking of them...

Day 22 of PROUD OF

I guess the craft fairs I took part in at the end of last year felt like something I'd been working towards and was a nice way of ending my first year of Welly-kins!

Very proud of all of the stock I managed to get together in a short space of time and very proud of Thommy , my biggest supporter and helper!

'Reducing waste'

This is definitely a work in progress for me! I love to recycle things and make them into something new and unique but I struggle to find alternatives to cellophane, bubblewrap and padded envelopes for protecting and posting products. Suggestions welcome 😀😀

day 8 - PRODUCT RANGE

My product range has developed quite a bit over the course of a year. I started out making cards by hand, using all kinds of materials but it took sooo long! I still like the odd handcrafted card but I figured out quite quickly that it might be less time consuming and more cost effective to paint and then get cards printed in bulk. This has worked a lot better, so from handcrafted cards to watercolour paintings, cards, prints, mini decorations, postcards, gift tags, commissions and wedding signs...

It's the first day of and it's - FAVOURITE TO MAKE

How can I choose!? I love making everything that I sell! A majority of my work is watercolour paintings and then I adapt them on illustrator and turn them into postcards, cards or prints!

I love that moment when you paint something and then can see the potential to turn it into a design that you can sell! It's great fun experimenting with colours, fonts, styles, patterns and materials. I do love my new home card that you'll see in the bottom right hand corner and the animal birthday card in the top right - they've been popular!

Another thing I enjoy are commissions, it's quite a challenge to be given a theme by someone and then to just go for it and hope that something aesthetically pleasing will happen!

Looking forward to more experimenting today in fact!
