We’re delighted to announce that Steph Burrows has been appointed as GAP’s new Financial Director! 🎉

Steph joined GAP 10 years ago as a Management Accountant and has progressed through the business to become Financial Controller, before taking on this new role.

As Financial Director, Steph will lead our team of 20 finance professionals and work closely with the wider leadership team across the business.

Her role will include supporting our continued development, maintaining strong financial governance and working closely with the team at Knowsley as we continue to develop the site.

Barry Elmer, Managing Director, said: “I’m delighted to see Steph take on this new responsibility and I’m sure she will play an important role as we move into our next phase of growth.”

Last week, our Plymouth team celebrated their first anniversary — marking 12 months since the depot first opened its doors!

Over the past year, Tim and the team have worked hard to build strong relationships with customers, support the local trade and make GAP Plymouth a go-to destination from day one.

25 years. One incredible journey. 💚

Yesterday, we were proud to celebrate Danny Cavanagh's 25th anniversary with GAP.

From joining our Wirral depot as a warehouse operative in 2001, Danny has progressed through the business to become Depot Operations Director and a member of our Board.

For Danny, one of the most rewarding parts of his journey has been helping to develop and promote others — something that reflects the culture of opportunity and progression at GAP.
