Prayer service guidance workshop

The 5 daily prayers are an integral part of every Muslim's life. Muslims will usually perform these prayers in all circumstances; whether travelling, at work, on an airplane etc... this extends to performing prayers at workplaces such as training facilities and stadiums too.

This workshop helps clubs and organisations understand the importance of prayers, conditions for its validity, ideal setup for a prayer room/space and much more.

We have delivered numerous workshops on this topic at clubs with many clubs now ensuring prayer rooms are available at their facilities for their Muslim players and colleagues.

Halal food and Muslim Dietary Requirements workshop

This is a very important workshop which educates clubs on the Muslim dietary regulations and offers guidance on maintaining this throughout.

Clubs try their best to make sure that Halal offerings are readily available for their Muslim players, staff and fans, however usually fall short on this due to not being aware of some essential factors which uphold the halal criteria within the foods and drinks industry.

Following on from our previous post in introducing our services in sports, we would like to remind all clubs that we are now taking bookings for the Ramadan Awareness workshop, which was in fact our first ever to be introduced at clubs back in 2016.

This workshop has helped clubs in understanding what Ramadan entails, what it means to the millions of Muslims around the world, explaining ruling pertaining to athletes who will observe the fasts, it has also helped support clubs in future performance planning, training routine change etc..

Ramadan is predicted to start next season around 11th March 2024 lasting for 29/30 days, and a number of clubs have already booked in our sessions.

Privileged to work with League Football Education over the many seasons in making football a safe place and accessible for all.

We have in partnership delivered workshops to clubs in educating and raising awareness on the Muslim faith, and how it forms as an integral part of the Muslim athletes identity, on and off the pitch.

The impact the LifeSkills programme has made its immeasurable and we have seen the change in attitude and acceptance to others beliefs at all levels of the clubs, from academy to senior positions.

Our new partnership for the 2022/2023 season in free chaplains visits to cubs has also been announced.

This is groundbreaking and the first time to be offered directly to the clubs from the EFL.

Clubs will now have the opportunity to invite our chaplains to visit for FREE and offer guidance and confidential support to players and staff at all EFL clubs, this is in addition to FREE workshops already delivered in partnership with League Football Education.

Today MCS were at Derby County Football club training ground working with the U18's.

Living in a multi cultural and diverse society, it is very important that awareness on religious and cultural differences is discussed openly and freely at all levels within professional sports.

Thank you to the club for placing your trust in us and inviting my to visit the training ground to discuss Ramadan (Muslim fasting month) and help the players in raising awareness on this topic.

I look forward to visiting Derby County Football Club again and hopefully working with all involved at the club.

Once again MCS were back at Liverpool FC 1st team and U23's state of the art AXA Training Centre.

As part of our chaplaincy services and educational provisions we delivered to Host Parents in preparing them should they host a Muslim player at LFC.

Feedback was great and all participants thoroughly enjoyed it, leaving with vital knowledge on the Islamic way of life and cultural differences.

Thank you to Liverpool FC for your continued trust and support in our work, the invite and facilitating this event.

Thank you also for the hospitality in offering us a unrestricted tour of the entire training facility and serving up a delicious and healthy dinner, very much appreciated.
