We’re proud to be shortlisted as finalists for the FIS Contractors Awards for 2026!

We are nominated for the ceiling package we installed at the Superlabs project at the University of Derby. Our operatives and management team performed impeccably throughout the project creating a fantastic facility for the students.

A great project to be a part of and an honour to be nominated.

We recently went back to the University of Derby to check out the newly completed Superlab, which is now fully up and running 👀

This project included a full ceiling and partition package, with Rockfon® Clean Space Pure tiles, Airtight Bulkheads and detailed finishes throughout.

A strong install from the team and a great space now fully taken advantage of by the students.

The Traffic Street student accommodation scheme involved plenty of moving parts, but with careful planning and a strong team on site, it all came together in the end.

We’re going behind the scenes at Proline HQ 👷‍♂️

No two days ever look the same – and what you see on site is only part of the job. A typical day usually involves:

- Walking multiple sites and checking progress
- Managing deliveries on-site
- Coordinating with site teams and other trades
- Keeping things moving when plans change, or problems arise

… and then it’s back to the office where we plan, organise and fill out what feels like endless paperwork (got to be done!) to ensure a smooth operation.

A lot goes on behind the scenes, but each part is essential to make sure each project runs like clockwork.

Back at Unit 2, Vaughan Park in Tipton, taking a proper walkaround of the finished project.

This was a technically detailed industrial fit-out, and it’s always great to see everything complete and operating as intended once the team has handed it over. From the specialist systems installed through to the more complex elements of the build, there’s a lot that goes into delivering a space like this.

Projects of this scale come down to detailed planning, thorough on-site coordination and working through challenges as they come up. All while maintaining a consistent standard of finish throughout, of course!

A solid project from the team, and one I’m pleased to see delivered.
