Musical Electronic Repairs

Musical Electronic Repairs Repairs to all types of Electronic Musical Equipment (since 1987) It was September 1987 and loud screams of STEVE!!! The screams were aimed at me.

Are you sure you know what your DOING ??" could be heard coming from Mr Garry Chapman in the basement of the Great 'Musical Exchanges' on Birmingham's Old Snow Hill. I had a customers very expensive Roland Jupiter 8 in bits all over my bench. I did sort out the Jupiter 8 and have been repairing musician's electronic gear ever since. Having being previously based at Musical Exchanges, Sound Control

and Reverb, the workshop has recently moved into the fabulous Madhouse Rehearsals, 41-43 Hampton Street, Birmingham B19 3LS. Tel:07946 220068

This is my brother Steve who used to fix all your musical equipment in B'ham. In April 2020 Steve had the devastating news that he had Motor Neurone Disease, life expectancy is between 2-5years after diagnosis. This January I'm challenging myself to walk 15,000 steps a day to raise money to fund vital research, care and support for people living with MND.
We’re almost at the finish line!!
Day 30 completed with 16,070.
We’re so close to target , come on we can do it, if you havn't donated already and can PLEASE do. This could be you one day or a close relative, and I’m sure you’d be doing the same as me just to give your loved ones something nice.
There’s absolute nothing nice about mnd, just imagine what it would be like to be given this diagnosis, a diagnosis that has no cure , no treatment and then finding out what mnd actually is - Such an awful disease.
Thank you to all who have donated and supported us doing this challenge. 💙🧡🤍

Steve used to fix all the music gear in Birmingham starting at Musical Exchanges in 1987 & then at Madhouse (Uprawr Studios). Hi, my name is Jo and Steve my brother. In April 2020 Steve had the devastating news that he had Motor Neurone Disease, life expectancy is between 2-5years after diagnosis. This January I'm challenging myself to walk 15,000 steps a day to raise money to fund vital research, care and support for people living with MND. It’s now coming upto 4 years, we count ourselves lucky we still have him. Things are now getting harder for him, he now struggles to stay upright and pretty much everything has slowed down for him now, he’s mostly in a wheelchair even though he does still try and walk about when he can. He obviously like all of us would wants to make the most of the time he has left, he wants to visit as many places as he can but this costs money and he’s now having to Give up work too as this is now to much for him. He was self employed so no payouts or any help money wise for him there. So here I am asking anyone willing to donate anything to get my brother on as many holidays and adventures as he can while he can, he no idea I’ve set this up either so it would be a great surprise also. Please feel free to share this post too, thank you, Jo x
