From the first photo taken yesterday to the photo taken this morning, and without any prompting, Northfield Business Improvement District - BID Business Community Support Officer acting upon the concerns of businesses cleaned up this site in Northfield Town Centre. A thankless task that should be the responsibility of the council. Please note, the BID will continue to act on matters on behalf of the Northfield business community, where it has the authority to do so.

These pesky fly posters turned up at Visit Northfield and were a bane to remove. We had to wait for the right materials and the right weather to safely remove the fly posters from all over the town centre. Well done to the BID Caretaker who removes these posters, helping keep the town centre as clean as possible.

Prolific shoplifter caught! Due diligence & intel shared by the BID's Community Safety Officer have helped West Midlands Police Northfield Neighbourhood Team capture and charge the shoplifter with 14 counts of shop theft and a recall to prison. Great partnership working under the BID's Protecting Northfield priority, Visit Northfield

Just an update, the infamous encampment along the A38 Relief Road is in the process of being cleared up, following the support given to the occupants by Trident Reach. Thank you to the BID partners ( neighbourhood police team and BCC safety management in assisting and supporting the occupants.
