A great project to be part of… An eight-page fold-out leaflet for a local walking trail, “The Belne Brook Trail”.

The Belbroughton History Society approached me to design the leaflet; they were unsure which direction to take. We designed a usable leaflet that can be folded back on itself to easily pop into a pocket or map case.

Having only old photos and hand-drawn maps to start from, we utilised the recent video for stills, redrew the map, and designed a sympathetic but practical leaflet. Working closely with members of the history society, to ensure that it had the right feel and all important information was included along the route.

As the trail is only a short walk away from my office, it has a little more personal significance. Romsley and its surroundings is an area I grew up in and continue to enjoy the great countryside and rich history...

While I am working from home, I have taken the opportunity to sign up for some free online courses. I'd never heard of Futurelearn before, but it seems good... I have enrolled in Business Fundamentals: Customer Engagement.
