🚲🔧 BIG NEWS FOR OSC APPLIANCE REPAIRS 🔧🚲

Apparently, tradesmen should be using cargo bikes instead of vans now… so we’ve decided to embrace the future.

Just popping out to replace a customer’s fridge freezer.

On the bike:
🔧 Standard tool bag
🔌 Multimeter
🪛 Screwdrivers
⚙️ A few spare parts
🧰 A pump
🧊 And just the small matter of a 6ft fridge freezer…

“Don’t worry, I’ll be there in 15 minutes.” 😂

Obviously, if I can fit an oven, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and half my workshop into a basket, I’ll let you know.

Oven not heating at a local cricket club?

On inspection, both a fan motor and the thermostat were found to be faulty. Both replaced this afternoon and the oven is back up and running ahead of a busy weekend

Kids dropped some scales onto your hob glass?!

Do not despair! This can be fixed with a simple repair.

Fortunately for the customer, this was covered by an accidental damage policy, and the hob glass was replaced. It’s now as good as new without the need for the new replacement induction hob.

A couple jobs squeezed in for the Sunday shift.

Tumble dryer not closing correctly, we found the door lock to be faulty. Replaced and tested ok

Washing machine intermittently not draining, and unable to remove the filter. Drain pump removed, cleaned out and the appliance is now back working correctly.

Bearing replacement on a Bosch washing machine. The appliance began getting extremely loud on a spin cycle. After inspection, and consideration of replacing, the customer decided to go ahead with the repair and the appliance is now back in full working order.
