Important Update – Bishop Self Storage
We regret to inform customers that a serious fire occurred at Bishop Auckland Trade Park, where Bishop Self Storage operates.
The fire caused significant damage to the building and the structure has since been declared unsafe. For safety reasons, the site is currently closed and no access is permitted until structural assessments and safety checks have been completed.
Emergency services attended the incident and the fire was extinguished. We are grateful to confirm that no injuries were reported.
At this stage it is not possible to safely access individual storage units to assess the condition of stored items. We understand this will be distressing for customers and we sincerely appreciate your patience while investigations and safety assessments are ongoing.
We are cooperating with all relevant authorities.
Customers who had items stored at the site are asked to contact us directly by email at [email protected] so we can provide further updates as information becomes available.
