Our Bailey Hills stag has been standing proud for a whole year, & rather embarrassingly, he’s yet to be given a name.

So we’re handing the naming rights over to you!

Our stag represents our home on the Hertfordshire–Essex border: the proud Herts stag and the iconic Essex three swords. They look the part… but they need a name worthy of our very own vineyard legend.

As well as being a big weekend for us at Bailey Hills, it’s also a big weekend for Bishop's Stortford Rugby Club who’s season starts tomorrow.

The boots are on, the bubbles are chilling and we’re ready for another season supporting our favourite local rugby club!

We’ve reached the final month of our vineyard summer schedule…

It may not feel like summer anymore, but here at Bailey Hills we still count September as part of our sunshine season. So come join us as we collectively coax out a few more golden evenings - a little sunshine dance never hurt - before we start wrapping up warm for the cooler months ahead.

Take a look at our September evening openings: we do have a couple of private events on upcoming Thursdays & Fridays, but every Saturday this month we’re open right through the evening for those last lingering summer sundowners.

We’re excited to reveal the brilliant local talent joining us at our up-coming acoustic music event, taking place on the weekend of our one year anniversary, all brought to you by our new friends at Stortford Sessions .

Alex Bayly: An indie-folk singer-songwriter and producer, crafting intimate, warmly produced songs that blend rich acoustic textures with thoughtful lyricism. Alex has built an independent following with over a million streams alongside production music credits for EMI and Universal.

Tabitha Lily: Tabitha’s sound is rooted in honest, storytelling song-writing, with a raw, acoustic-driven sound. Influenced by the song-writing of Amy Winehouse and Fleetwood Mac-style soulful production, the vocal tones of Lizzy McAlpine, and the guitar strumming of Joni Mitchell.

Danny Janeway: An acoustic singer and guitarist performing a mix of well-loved pub classics, singalong favourites and crowd pleasers. His sets are about creating a good vibe with songs people know and love!

Something fishy is happening at the vineyard this weekend… in the best possible way.

The brilliant Fish & Chip Food Truck are joining us not once, but twice. On Friday evening you can tuck into their gorgeous fish & chips at our weekly sundowners, and on Saturday they’ll be back to spoil those of you lucky enough to have tickets to our sold‑out Miss Jones Jazz Evening. We highly recommend you pre-order - check out the ‘summer food schedule’ link via our linktree.

A quick reminder: due to Saturday’s event, we’ll be closing at 5pm and re-opening at 7pm for ticket holders. And with temperatures dipping, it’s worth bringing something cosy for when the sun goes down.
