Meet Anne, our Senior Tax Manager.

Anne supports our tax director Nadeem Hussain and plays a key role in overseeing our tax department. With specialist expertise in complex tax planning, high-net-worth individuals and trust matters, she helps clients navigate some of the most challenging areas of taxation with confidence.
Before moving into practice, Anne began her career with HMRC in Liverpool. She joined Pierce more than 20 years ago and continues to enjoy the variety and complexity that tax advisory work brings. Anne is also a proud member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Outside of work, Anne is an avid football fan and enjoys keeping up with the latest action on and off the pitch.

Fun fact: Anne won first prize in a junior school woodwork competition with a model yacht she made herself!

Companies House is currently experiencing a system issue affecting submissions and access to data.

❌ Filings submitted since Friday evening are not yet being processed
❌New filings are being prepared, but cannot currently be submitted

Some deadlines may be impacted, although penalties can be appealed directly with Companies House if applied.

We expect some delays even after the issue is resolved due to the backlog.

Please be assured we are monitoring this closely and will submit everything promptly once services resume. If you have any questions, our team is here to help.

📢 Companies House confirms major accounts changes from April 2028

Significant reforms to UK company filings have now been confirmed, giving businesses time to prepare for a more digital, transparent future.

From April 2028:
✔️ All companies will be required to file accounts using commercial software
✔️ Small companies and micro-entities must file a profit & loss account
✔️ Abridged accounts will be removed
✔️ Paper and web-based filing routes will close
✔️ Stronger audit exemption statements will be required

Smaller businesses will have the option to keep their profit & loss information off the public register.

⏱️ With 21 months to prepare, now is the time to review your processes and ensure you’re ready for a fully digital filing environment.
