This evening, 26 amazing walkers will take on a 7-mile challenge across the hills of Accrington, raising vital funds for PAC - Positive Action in the Community

It’s been a busy few weeks for our Directors Peter Sims and Robert Longworth getting out and about, meeting people, building relationships and connecting with our local business community.

From East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce Curry Club at Accrington Stanley Football Club and Rush Hour at Blackburn Rovers Football Club, to Better Networking Hubs and BNI meetings, and later today at BANG's AGM.

Every event has been different, but the one constant has been the people. Great conversations, new connections, familiar faces and plenty of opportunities to learn, share and support other local businesses.

A special mention to everyone involved in making these events happen; it’s brilliant to see such a strong and active business community across East Lancashire.

Born Survivor: completed. ✅

This weekend, three of the BlueRockIT team swapped keyboards and server rooms for an assault course packed with military-grade obstacles.

Well done to Bob, Mal and Sam for taking on the challenge and making it to the finish line!

There were a few words of wisdom along the way…

🗣️ Mal: “Don’t run on your face.”

🗣️ Sam's favourite course quote was “Pain is weakness leaving the body.”

A brilliant effort from all three; and a good reminder that teamwork, determination and a questionable tolerance for mud can get you through just about anything.

Would your business survive a cyber attack?
