Our product of the week is a blanking plug adapter. Made of Black POM-C material, the adapter is designed for use on a box that contains electrical components, where it’s purpose is to plug the box when the aperture is not in use.

Our latest investment – a Lynx 2100LB CNC Lathe equipped with Fanuc 0iTF Plus CNC Control System – has increased productivity and significantly reduced our lead times for turned items. Our product of the week is nylon rollers created on our Lathe for a customer who is working on a conveyor project. The customer chose oil filled nylon as opposed to standard nylon due to its exceptional durability and the fact that the coefficient of friction is twice as good as standard nylon!

There were many interesting presentations this week at . The programme for Day 1 included ‘How to make a rotary die from receiving a drawing to the finished cutting forms’ and also ‘How to make a flat bed die from receiving a drawing to the completed cutting form.

The development of SRP and recent improvements in packaging design have simplified the packaging and display processes for retailers. With good SRP design, there is no requirement for a knife when opening the box and this significantly reduces the chances of damage. Key to ensuring the swift, clean opening of SRP boxes is the use of an appropriate perforation blade. Did you know that we can re-surface your old cutting boards to make them last longer and save costs? Press cutting pads up to 51" wide can be machined flat to look like a new press cutting board but at a fraction of the cost.
