Inaugurated in 1912, the Ritz-Carlton Montreal was the first hotel in the world to carry both the Ritz and Carlton names and remains Quebec's only AAA Five Diamond Hotel.

We carried out terra cotta block replacements and renewal across the exterior elevation, including decorative elements and cornices, matching the character and quality of early twentieth-century craftsmanship, completed in 2019.

Some buildings can't afford to compromise on detail. This was one of them. 🧡

One minute it's June and the next you're prepping for Christmas. A bit like watching a piece go from liquid clay to fired terracotta, it feels quick, but every stage matters. Wishing everyone a relaxing Bank Holiday! 🧡

Built in 1912, Saint John's Imperial Theatre is one of Canada's most cherished heritage performing arts venues.
When deteriorating terracotta and brickwork threatened its ornate façade, we stepped in to manufacture replacement terracotta blocks, matching original profiles, cornices and decorative details, to restore the façade true to the theatre's heritage character.

Every building has a story worth preserving. 🏛️🧡

In the heart of Leeds, Victoria Quarter's striking terracotta façades and domes have stood as a landmark for over a century. Originally built with Burmantofts faience, our restoration work combined careful conservation with a full replacement of the domes, safeguarding this landmark for generations to come.

Every building has a story worth preserving, and we help match its original character, down to the finest detail. 🧡

When no US manufacturer would take it on, conservation specialists Conserve ART LLC brought Iowa State University's project to us.

The Fountain of the Four Seasons, a beloved 1941 sculpture by Christian Petersen, needed new terracotta elements that could match the hand-formed quality of the originals. We developed colour-matched clay, pulled moulds from 3D-printed scans, and hand-finished every piece in collaboration with conservation specialists Conserve ART LLC.

Restored and reinstalled in summer 2025.

Huge congratulations to vHH Architects behind Leicester Cathedral's Heritage Learning Centre on winning the Regional RICS Community Benefit Award 2026 🎉🎉

We were proud to handcraft the glazed faience fins that give the building its striking character, helping bridge centuries-old heritage with bold new architecture. Well deserved!

Today, we turned the lens on the craftspeople who make our work possible. Hands that shape clay before it becomes architecture, hands with skills few still hold, refined over years, felt in every terracotta piece we make.

Behind the camera, the photographer chose to shoot on Kodak film, a nearly forgotten craft that demands its own kind of patience and precision.

Two rare skills, captured together, one frame at a time. 📷🎞️🧡
