Pride Month is a reminder that values only matter if people can feel them.

It is easy for businesses to say they care.

It is harder to build cultures where people feel safe enough to speak honestly, challenge bravely, keep learning, make mistakes, have fun, and be fully themselves.

That is why Pride Month feels closely connected to the values we live by at Sales Geek.

-Geeks are always learning, because inclusion starts with listening properly.

-Geeks get **it done, because belonging is not created by good intentions alone. It takes action, consistency, and the small everyday choices that make people feel respected.

-Geeks are brave, because creating better workplaces means being willing to challenge old habits and uncomfortable assumptions.

-Geeks care, because people do their best work when they feel supported, valued and seen.

-Geeks make it fun, because belonging should not feel like a policy, it should feel like a culture people actually want to be part of.

- Geeks change the world, because better businesses are built by people who are free to bring their whole selves to the table.

Pride Month is not just about visibility in June, it is a reminder to keep building workplaces, teams, and cultures where people do not have to shrink themselves to succeed.

Happy Pride Month from Sales Geek.

Scotland… are you ready for a serious day of growth?

On Tuesday 26th May, the Scottish Growth Expo takes over Hampden Park and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting business events in Scotland this year.

Hundreds of ambitious leaders, decision‑makers and commercial pros will be in the room, all looking for fresh ideas, new partnerships and the kind of conversations that actually move businesses forward.

You’ll hear from standout keynote speakers like Lorna Farrell: Motivational Speaker, Brian Williamson: Award Winning Entrepreneur and Katy Morrison (Assoc. CIPD): Head of Culture & Performance, alongside expert‑led seminars supported by Scottish Women in Business (SWIB), Institute of Directors (IoD), Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and more across Scotland’s business landscape.

But the real magic?
It’s the energy.
The unexpected introductions.
The “you two need to talk” moments that spark real momentum.

And the best part?
If you’re curious, ambitious, or simply hungry to learn from people who’ve been there and done it… you’re welcome. This event is built for anyone who wants to grow.

Warrington… we’re coming in HOT🔥🔥

Sales Club is back on 28th May, 9–11am at The Causeway, and this month we’re digging into a skill every sales leader thinks their team has… until they realise there’s a whole new level of impact waiting to be unlocked.

“Do You Want Fries With That?”

Not the upsell.
Not the script.
The thinking behind it.

Because the best salespeople aren’t pushy, they’re useful.

They make conversations smoother, smarter and more valuable for the person in front of them.

And that’s exactly what this session is all about.

Leading the room is Tom, bringing the kind of energy, honesty and practical insight that makes even seasoned sales leaders rethink how they coach, communicate and create opportunities. You’ll walk out with ideas you can use the same day, and your team will feel the difference.

If you’re a business owner, sales leader or someone who wants to elevate the conversations you’re already having, this is your room.

Warm people. Real talk. Zero fluff.

Just proper, practical sales learning that actually moves the needle.
📅 28th May
⏰ 9am–11am
📍 The Causeway, Warrington

Come curious. Leave sharper.

And yes… you’ll never hear “Do you want fries with that?” the same way again.

Day 5. The final part of the Mental Health Awareness Week campaign created by Lucy and Megan.

They wanted to finish by focusing on leadership and the role it plays in how teams experience pressure. The questions leaders ask. The space they create. The way they respond when things aren’t going to plan. All of it shapes whether people feel safe bringing the truth or feel they need to hide it.

Their Day 5 carousel is about creating an environment where honest conversations can happen and where pressure doesn’t become something people carry alone.

Day 4 of the Mental Health Awareness Week project from Lucy and Megan.

They focused today on clarity. They noticed how often people talk about stress in sales without talking about the systems that create it. So they built a carousel around the idea that clarity reduces pressure. Clear stages. Clear inputs. A weekly rhythm that keeps people grounded rather than overwhelmed.

It’s practical, simple and something every sales team can benefit from.

We try not to fall off the Geeky Brandwagon™️ too often so when Geeks go green, it’s for a good reason! Mental Health Awareness Week is close to all our hearts and today the whole team stepped in and up, HQ and new recruits together in support of The Mental Health Foundation.

Top spot for best outfit went to James Denny for his RED T-shirt with a message!! 🤣

> We support the Mental Health Foundation because their work is about acting early, creating healthier environments, and making sure people don’t have to struggle alone before help arrives. It’s practical, preventative, and focused on real‑world change. Link to donate is in the comments...

Day 3 of the campaign created by Lucy and Megan. Today they looked at where pressure actually comes from in a sales environment. Not the obvious signs, but the patterns underneath. The hesitation around pipeline reviews. Deals staying in the same stage for too long. Longer hours creeping in. Confidence dipping without anyone saying it out loud.
They realised that pressure often comes from these unclear systems or unclear expectations. And perhaps even more times it comes from us and our own unrealistic expectations of ourselves. When the structure isn’t right as well, then people feel it long before they say anything.
Their Day 3 carousel is all about spotting those early signals and addressing the root cause.
