How I Work together with vets to Support Your Pets | K-Laser Therapy

As a veterinary nurse providing K-Laser therapy for animals, I believe the best approach is one that works alongside your veterinary practice, keeping your petsโ€™ individual needs at the heart of everything I do this helps to keep updated on how your pets are managing with the treatment plan.

How I work with vets:

Referral-led care โ€“ Working with your vet practice to support suitable patients as part of their wider veterinary care plan.

Collaborative approach โ€“ Recognising the importance of your pets diagnosis, treatment plan and ongoing involvement in each patientโ€™s care.

Clear communication โ€“ Keeping communication open with referring practices to support continuity of care.

Flexible appointments โ€“ Offering both home visits and clinic-based appointments at All4Pets and Shuttleworth Vets.

Supporting patients together โ€“ My aim is to complement the care your vet provides and make accessing K-Laser therapy as straightforward as possible for you and your pets.

Alongside working with the local vets for home visits I do hold clinics are at :

All4pets - Grave Oak Lane, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 3SE - Mondays

Shuttleworth vets - 209A Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, Rossendale, Lancashire,
BB4 7PA

Molly and Her Treatment

Molly suffers from arthritis affecting multiple joints, particularly around her back end. Since starting her treatment, she appears much more comfortable and is able to stretch for up to two weeks between top-up treatments.

We initially estimate that treatments may be needed every four weeks, but every patient is different. I always check in with her owners to find out how Molly has been managing at home, and together we create a treatment plan based on any subtle changes in her behaviour, movement and comfort levels.

K-Laser has been a great help in keeping Molly comfortable. It works by using therapeutic laser light to stimulate the cells within the affected tissues, helping to improve circulation, reduce inflammation and support the bodyโ€™s natural healing processes. This can help to relieve pain and stiffness and improve overall mobility.

For Molly, the aim is to keep her as comfortable and mobile as possible, while adjusting her treatment schedule according to how she is feeling at home rather than simply following a fixed timetable.

As you can see her favourite part is definitely the spinal treatment ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿฅฐ.

if anyone has any questions or thinks k-laser therapy would help there pet then get in touch would be happy to help ๐Ÿซถ

โ€ข Licking or protecting a particular area
โ€ข Sleeping more or seeming less active

Pain can have a big impact on your petโ€™s quality of life.

๐Ÿพ A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MEโ€ฆ ๐Ÿพ

Itโ€™s been one year this month since I took over an existing business and rebranded it as The Laser Vet Nurse โ€” and honestly, where has that time gone?! ๐Ÿฅน

Itโ€™s been challenging at times, but Iโ€™ve genuinely loved every second of it. โค๏ธ

From a very young age, Iโ€™ve always gravitated towards animals and knew that working with them was what I wanted to do when I grew up.

After leaving school, I completed my Animal Management qualification, and in 2011 I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse. ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿพ

From there, I developed a real interest in pain management and rehabilitation, which eventually led me down the path of laser therapy.

A huge part of my passion for this comes from my own experience with my German Shepherd, Kaizer.
He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and I wanted to do everything I possibly could to help him stay comfortable as possible. We started laser therapy when he was very young, and now, at 9 years old, although he has hip dysplasia his recent X-rays showed no signs of arthritis. ๐Ÿ•โค๏ธ

Kaizer has played such a big part in my journey and is one of the reasons Iโ€™m so passionate about helping other pets live as comfortably as possible.

I just want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all my lovely clients for trusting me with your beautiful pets. It really does mean the world to me. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Hereโ€™s to another year of helping our four-legged friends feel their very best! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you for supporting The Laser Vet Nurse.
