Exciting news arrived today, after submitting an application to register as a CIC with Companies House yesterday, I received notification that we were successful in our bid to register as a charity. Which now mans we can start to operate, and importantly, accept donations as a charity and bid for funding from organisations.

If you would like to get involved in this years White Rose International Film Festival 48 hour film challenge, get in touch right now so we can build the team. You do not have to have experience, is open to all ages and genres, in film making whatsoever, just be keen and willing to take part, we need sound crew, camera operators, editors, sound designers, scriptwriters, actors, hair and make up artists. costumers.

All film making equipment will be provided. We just ned you! training provided.

This will act as a taster session for the upcoming Optika Film Studio launch, so if you or if you know qanyone who would like to be involved in some way or another in making a short 5 minute film in under 48 hours then get in touch. With the CIC project flowing through the pipeline at the moment, I need to engage the community into viability for this community film/creative studio that would e available to everyone that was interested, including volunteers to help run workshops and take part as interested in film, even if you don't have any experience what so ever. please complete, and share this post, it doesn't commit you to anything, I just need to get at least 50 returns to show that the project for the community would be 1) viable, and 2) wanted in teh community and surrounding areas.

Another award, and accreditation to Filmmaking from the White Rose International Film Festival held in Harrogate on Saturday 15th August 2026, sharing the Honour with Kelli Hollis presented by the fabulous Velton J - Comedy Festival Director and Compere for the evenings award ceremonies. A fantastic night of film, and congratulations to all the other entrants, and to the winners, Runners up, honourable mentions and finalists.

Our second award win in this prestigious Festival De Indie our fist for best short film, this time we have won the coveted Golden Squirrel for Film Score, first time in composing for Spencer Shackleton Ma, be proud guys, thanks to and for their collaboration on this short film project. and Shytalk Productions
