Morning all. Just a wee note to cover the monthly meeting that was held on Tuesday 25th March. No photos this week, and sadly Sean was unable to attend for his 15 minutes of fame due to a traffic incident. All thoughts now are to next month when we are hoping to entice a representative from Grow Biz to attend and provide advice regarding small, rural based businesses. Look out for further announcements.

Morning everyone. The photos from the February meeting are attached below.

The session followed the usual format, with this month's featured speaker being Tessa Merrie. She has been looking at a website format for the LBN, to complement the Facebook presence that we are developing.

The artwork was suppied by Jack Ravi, who displayed some of the wonderful collage and assemblage art he creates with found objects.

Invites for March's meeting are out from Faceboook, and you should be getting an email as well.

What a fabulous first meeting of the year. It was lovely to see even more new faces 🤩
Due to a last minute change of plans, Maxine Rutherford jumped into the breach for our 15min business spotlight, with a talk on her 2nd business, breeding and training dogs, which included bringing a couple of dogs to the meeting for the talk 🐕‍🦺🐕
And on the producers table we had Andrea MacDonald, showcasing her work decoupaged with her abstract nature photography; wooden signs with pyrography lettering, and decorative mixed media clay and paint hearts ❤️
Have a good month everyone, and we look forward to seeing you all on the 25th of February 👍🏼

What a great meeting we had in November! With regular and new individuals and businesses in attendance, lots of discussions were had and connections made. Tilly Harris took the spotlight this month with a beautiful presentation of her architectural business, Adonia Architectural Ltd, which included a fascinating pictorial tour through the whole process of one of her extension projects from survey to finished project, along with “before”, “during” and “after” photos of a multitude of other projects that she has undertaken.
And on our producers table we were treated to a beautiful display of handmade products by Diane Caswell, Artisan Spinner Weaver and Dyer.
Those who have attended these meetings have all found them to be most informative about the many businesses available in the area, as well as being an ideal place to let others know about what they, themselves do… and, we would be delighted to welcome ever more businesses in the future. Please feel free to join us – and bring a friend!
The 15-minutes spotlight is still available for the next meeting, so please let us know, as soon as possible, if you’d like to make use of this great platform on which to tell us all about YOUR business!
Similarly, the Produce Table, for local producers to show-case their crafts or produce, is up for grabs for our February Meeting.
The Lunan Business Network is all about connecting and supporting local businesses. Whether you’re a long-established company or just getting started, we’re here to help each other grow and thrive. Let’s keep building those meaningful connections!
We look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on Tuesday 28th January at 8am.

A massive thank you to everyone who made our October meeting a success! It was brilliant to see both familiar and new faces. Kelly McIntyre gave a fantastic and inspiring talk about her film, photography, and workshops, sparking great conversations and connections across the room.

We’re excited to welcome even more businesses next time! Please come along and bring a friend!

Let us know if you’re keen to take the 15-minute spotlight at future meetings. We’ll also be offering a table at each meeting for local makers to showcase their crafts or produce.
