Another project completed at the end of last year.

We put an extension on this lovely bungalow which consisted of a new open plan kitchen/dinning room, a utility room and an en suite to the master bedroom.

We modernised the existing tiled roof and opted for a more mordern looking slate. At this stage we decided it was cost effective to slate half of the roof as the other half of the roof will be stripped back as part of the 2nd phase when adding another extension to the opposite end of the property.

The main construction of the 10m x4m swimming pool is complete just waiting on the skimmers and a few fittings to arrive into the country before moving any further forward.

A lot of work goes into a swimming pool this size and depth that is easily forgotten and never seen! 🤦‍♂️

The footings for the double garage are due to start In February. The garage will consist of a changing room, shower room and first floor office aswell as a 2 car parking bay.

Here is another job recently completed.

A Cavity wall was formed with a thermal internal block, full fill cavity insulation and an external facing brick.

A Bespoke Timber frame was designed and built by a local joiner TK joinery to meet the customers requirements aswell as making sure it had the structual qualities to support a partially vaulted roof.

All work carried out by our team of trusted tradesman!

We will try to do regular updates on this project as the job evolves! The garden wall is built to the height the customer wanted but we suggested leaving it as it is untill the swimming pool heights are set so that they can get the heights just right to shelter their sunbathing area best as possible without blocking out too much sunlight.

We also had G K Plant Hire & Groundwork Contractors back in today with their 8 ton slew to strip back top soil and start the excavation of the swimming pool! The customers are very excited to say the least, let’s just hope the weather is kind to us over the coming weeks!

We have recently started our next big project which consists of a large 10m x 4m swimming pool with a 2.2m deep end.

A large garden wall with a mix of green stone and flint blocks.

A large double garage with plant room and office space on the first floor.

There is going to be a lot of work involved in this one over the coming months! Not a lot to see at the moment but what a great location for a swimming pool!!

Nice to have G K Plant Hire & Groundwork Contractors on board with this one helping us get out the ground!

We are looking for an experienced bricklayer or improver to join our team. A multi skilled tradesman would also fit in nicely with brickwork being one of the skills required obviously.

Must be reliable and have own transport to and from jobs in dorset, mainly blandford area.

Rates of pay negotiable depending on experience. Message me on here to find out more
