As of 1st October, two employment law changes came into effect.

⚖️ Right to work checks have expanded, extending beyond employees to workers and subcontractors.
⚖️ Employment tribunal deadlines have doubled, with the time limit for bringing most claims increasing from three months to six months.

Some important changes have already come into force this year, with more taking effect this month and further changes on the way into 2027.
