Thank you to all those who have e mailed highways we had a site meeting with our MP Ian Levy on Friday and he was in agreement with our fight for a loading bay and he is going to put forward our case
We will keep you informed of any changes

E mail to the Highways programme today by me regarding parking restrictoions
Hi
ADG Auctions have been trading from E Tolhurst Centre Quay Rd Blyth for over 3 years. In all that time we have had no official verbal or written complaint from any council department dealing with parking or traffic violation.
So can you please inform me as to how and why in January extra parking restrictions were put in place stopping us and our clients from loading or unloading at our only viable entrance. This has caused our clients to have to load or unload under dangerous circumstances or carry goods unbearable distances. The restrictions do not effect any other business in the area. The effect is having devastating results as clients are choosing to go to othe auction.houses where the councils have not instig*ted detrimental parking restrictions.
I would like to know who added this on to a traffic consultation sometime last year as an ADDED EXTRA I believe. We feel that this was a personal and vindictive act to cause damage and danger to our clients and would ask the council if they are akin to compensating us.

I have been asking for information since Councillor E Cartie and 2 Council officers were in the vicinity of E Tolhurst Centre on Feb 2nd. I have been asking for the identity of the 2 gentlemen but the council have not furnished me with any information as yet. I do believe one of the officers was ###### who was in some sort of traffic wardens uniform and who on the aforementioned day only wanted to provoke an argument rather than talk about solutions I can prove it was him if needs be. Also from what he was saying I believe that it was he that brought in these extra restrictions without due consideration consultation or notification
If you or your department cannot answer my questions please direct me the correct department

Stating that "due to new parking restrictions at our main entrance it is now dangerous or at least inconvenient to park so far away to transport goods to us and is it possible to have a loading bay adjacent to our main entrance"

Hi again keep e mailing her but she has answered one of my many e mails saying she has withdrawn from any involvement and it's being dealt with by highways officers. So I'll keep.ylus all posted you could e mail blyths MP details on Google I have e mailed him and am waiting for a response. Also our landlord is trying to talk to them e mail him too [email protected] ask for loading bay cheers
