Just completed day 2 working with Louise Davies Wood completing LEV TExT Examinations. For those new and old to LEV TExT Examining Louise has a broad in depth knowledge of LEV and is an excellent Patreon.

As I have only been carrying out LEV TExT Examinations myself for a couple of years I have used Louise as a mentor to benchmark my own personal progress and competency. It is most definitely worth doing and I cannot recommend Louise as a mentor highly enough.

The Office Administrator assists with day-to-day administration and some of the HR functions and duties in the A&H Duct Cleaning Office, based in Bodmin, Cornwall.

The successful Administrator should be motivated and have a can-do attitude.

Ideally with 2 years or more of experience in a similar Admin role. You will be used to working at a fast pace in a busy environment and be flexible and agile to change.

This company is going through a period of growth, there are lots of changes in process and this is an excellent chance to be involved.

Key responsibilities:

Form effective and robust working relationships across the organisation.

Creating customer quotations.

Day to day monitoring of the company inbox and diary.

Prepare staff rotas and keep company diary up to date.

Responsible for all various general office duties.

To maintain and keep up to date the customer Database, customer spreadsheets, employee electronic files and companies shared drive up to date.

The successful candidate for the Administrator position will have:

Strong administrator experience.

Advanced Excel skills.

Good communication skills.

The ability to meet deadlines and run reports.

Job Vacancy

Due to the continued expansion of A&H Duct Cleaning Services, we are seeking to appoint an experienced LEV TExT Testing Engineer.

The role of the engineer is to carry out on site TExT testing of all types of LEV Systems including extensive TExT Testing and General Maintenance of Fume Cabinets in line with COSHH Regulations and HSG258 Guidelines. KI Discuss and DOP Filter Testing will be required with additional Training and Accreditation being provided to the successful candidate.

Candidates applying will be required to be certificated to either P601 or P602 qualification and must demonstrate a good understanding COSHH Regulations and HSG258 Controlling Airborne Contaminants at Work.

Electrical competency would also be advantageous and an understanding and a basic knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR would also be desirable.

You must demonstrate good engineering skills and be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of LEV Systems, Fume Cabinets, Filtration, Extraction Fans and LEV System Components. You must be able to work unsupervised, manage your own time, have the ability to win new clients and use your own initiative in carrying day to day activities. You must have excellent verbal and written skills and be computer literate with clear and concise English for full accurate TExT Reporting. You must be willing to undertake further training when required at the Companies discretion and cost. You must be prepared to work away from home with occasional overnight stays and weekend work if required. You must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full UK Driving Licence.

A&H Duct Cleaning Services are proud and excited to announce that the company has been awarded the 3 year contract to oversee the TExT Testing and Maintenance of the Fume Cabinets for FX Plus at the Penryn and Falmouth Campuses on behalf of Exeter University.

The A&H LEV Division will be responsible for overseeing the Thorough Examination and Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems of the Fume Cabinets including the KI Discuss Testing of Laboratory Fume Cabinets. The contract will also oversee the general maintenance of the sites Fume Cabinets as and when required.

On behalf of the company we wish to thank the procurement team at FX Plus for putting their trust in A&H. Finally as the proprietor of A&H I wish to thank all of our employees and particular Claire Daniel for working so hard to elevate the company into achieving such a prestigious contract.
