There are LOADS of ways to really optimise your email marketing efforts! I've listed three of them below:

✨️CATCHY SUBJECT LINE ✨️

If you fail to grab the attention of your subscriber with the subject line, your email will most likely end up in the 🗑 or spam folder! So, make sure you implement one of these:

➡️Conveying urgency - “limited offer, ”2 days left”

➡️Or creating curiousity - “8 ridiculous facts about X”

➡️Personalising - “Hey X, last chance to...”

🚫 LESS SELF-PROMOTING 🚫

A newsletter is a relationship-building tool that connects audiences to brand narratives.

Customers are not interested in hearing about your products and services all the time! 😴

Try to get rid of self-promotion (unless you have important news about your product or service you’d like to share with your subscribers).

🪄 SEGMENTATION 🪄

Firstly, what is it? It’s a super useful process of separating email subscribers into groups or segments based on criteria.

Why should you segment your email list?
Each person who signs up to receive your emails is at a different level of readiness to convert into a customer (which is the ultimate goal of all this).

Here are some ways you could break up your list:

✅️By location
✅️By awareness and decision stage
✅️By industry
✅️By previous engagement with your business
