And that’s a wrap in Düsseldorf with Calm Service’s Mike working with our client offering hosting and sales support at FET’s first ever exhibition at MEDICA Trade Fair.

It certainly felt worthwhile being there, exhibiting at trade-shows always uncovers more opportunities!

Next week Mike will be assisting with the exhibiting at Düsseldorf’s CompaMed with Leeds based ‘Fibre Extrusion Technology’. They will be showcasing some of the fibres, yarns and webs that they are able to process in their melt, wet and gel spinning technology.

A busy week on the road this week, from a 400 mile round trip weekend play off final visit to Wembley (the less said about that the better ⚽️ 😳), to an early start 300 miles up North visiting customers over in Dundee and some other places dotted along Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, before heading back down to Leeds for the rest of the week.

Let’s hope Leeds do better at Wembley this weekend to keep some of our fellow client colleagues’ spirits high! 🤞🏻🙌🏻

🗓️ February has at last arrived, which means after a long two year hiatus, the locally famous Bent and Bongs Beer Festival has returned, and Calm Sales have sponsored our first ever barrel at the event 🍺.

Managing Director, Mike, has been an avid visitor (taster 🍻) for the last fifteen years, and this year, when not working hard for clients, he’s been volunteering evenings for Bent and Bongs and is now a proud member of the organisation’s committee 🤓.

Starting today, Thursday, through to Saturday evening, details can be found over on the Bent and Bongs Beer Bash page. If you can make it there, be sure to check out our name in the brochure and sample the beer we sponsor, “Aurora” by Burning Sky 🌌. Cheers! 🍻

We’ve had some excellent feedback received from a fantastic new brewer, State of Kind Brew co who have just opened their brand new taproom after launching their brewery last year.

"We contacted Mike as a freelancer to help us with our sales for our small brewery. As a small business we were finding it difficult to employ someone in a permanent role, and the solution offered by Calm Services was the perfect option. An extremely conscientious and focused individual, he worked hard to secure sales and his communication is second to none. We are very happy to be working with Mike going forward."

We helped them hit the ground running by utilising our brewery knowledge and gathering sales contacts for them to sink their teeth straight into.
