Today we’re shining the spotlight on Dan Smith from Dan Smith Consultancy.

Dan helps owner-managed businesses breathe, grow and have a plan.

He works with business owners who are working flat out, constantly solving problems and making every decision—but still feel the profit, progress and freedom don’t match the effort.

Dan brings fresh eyes to the business, identifies where time and money are being lost, simplifies processes and turns difficult decisions into practical action.

After 25 years in the NHS, progressing from Biomedical Scientist to senior operational and strategic leadership roles, Dan now uses that experience to help smaller businesses become clearer, more efficient and less dependent on the owner.

Dan’s ideal visitor would be the owner of a growing trade or service business who has become busier, but not more profitable, organised or in control.

Fun fact about Dan: alongside consultancy, he also creates and sells collectible handmade mushrooms through Shrooms for Rooms 🍄
