We’ve got upcoming training dates now available for both Emergency First Aid at Work (Security) and Door Supervisor Refresher courses.

If your badge is due for renewal, you can actually complete your refresher up to four months in advance… so it’s worth getting it sorted early and avoiding that last-minute rush

Course dates:
First Aid (1 Day): 27.10.2026
Door Supervisor Refresher (2 Day): 28.10.2026 - 29.10.2026

A few key things to be aware of:
– First Aid is a 1-day course (09:00 – 17:00)
– Door Supervisor Refresher is a 2-day course (09:00 – 17:00)
– You only need to attend First Aid if your current certificate has less than 12 months remaining
– ACT Awareness and ACT Security are also required (we’ll guide you through this in the pre-course instructions)

We’ll send full joining instructions once you’re booked on, so everything’s clear before you attend.

If you need to get booked in, you can do this directly online:

If you’ve got any questions, feel free to give us a call on 0333 344 3994 (Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 16:00), or email [email protected] and we’ll come back to you.

We’ll be heading to Hyde to support Happenin’ in Hyde, with our team providing security throughout the event.

There’s loads happening across Hyde Outdoor Market and Clarendon Square, including street theatre, live music, circus skills, crafts, face painting and some slightly unusual visitors... including giant slugs and a colony of kazoo-wielding bees. 🐝

Best of all, it’s completely FREE.

👏 Outstanding Recognition for Amanda Barnes

We’re incredibly proud to recognise Amanda Barnes following some fantastic feedback received from the Rochdale Neighbourhood Team.

Following a serious incident, Amanda played an important role in supporting the subsequent investigation, working closely with local PCSOs to review and recover vital CCTV footage.

Through a meticulous review of the footage, Amanda helped piece together an accurate timeline of events and provided crucial CCTV evidence which ultimately assisted in identifying a suspect.

The feedback we received praised Amanda’s professionalism, efficiency, dedication and the way she worked alongside the Neighbourhood Team throughout the investigation.

It’s always great to receive positive feedback about our people, but even more so when their work has made a genuine difference.

Amanda’s efforts have now been formally recognised internally, and the praise is thoroughly deserved.

A huge well done, Amanda, from everyone at The ExcluSec Group. 👏

What a weekend in Bolton! 🙌

It’s been another fantastic Bolton Food and Drink Festival weekend, and we’re proud to have once again been part of delivering one of the biggest events in the town’s calendar.

This year marks our 12th year supporting the event, which is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Every year brings its own challenges, as you’d expect with an event of this size, but it’s one we genuinely enjoy being part of. Seeing Bolton town centre so busy and people coming together across the weekend makes all the hard work worthwhile.

It’s also great to continue to be trusted and recognised by Bolton Council to support such an important event for the town.

A massive thank you to everyone from Team ExcluSec who worked across the weekend. From our management and operational teams through to every member of staff out on the ground, thank you for the effort you put in.

12 years and counting. 👏
