Could moving to the cloud help reduce the environmental impact of your IT? ☁️🌱

This summer, we've helped a number of our clients move away from traditional on-site server infrastructure.

The result?

13 physical servers have now been switched off completely.

Servers that previously needed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year are no longer consuming electricity on site. While cloud migration is often considered for flexibility, resilience and accessibility, reducing the amount of physical infrastructure an organisation needs to operate can also contribute to its wider sustainability goals.

And there can be a financial benefit too, with less on-site equipment to power, cool and maintain.
