My third goodbye this week 😢 keep it together Carole. 🥰 My mini ta is off to reception class. Its hard to say goodbye, but knowing you are so ready for big school makes it that little bit easier. I have been so lucky to have the best families and they will always have a place in my heart. Shine bright little star 🌟

Today was another very emotional day. We celebrated my awesome little friend's birthday, but we also said goodbye to her as she moves to a preschool nearer her home. I have had the great pleasure, being part of your journey and your family, for the past 4 terms. Thank you to mum, dad and big brother for being the wonderful family that you are. I am so lucky. What can i say little miss, your kind, thoughtful, eager to learn nature has been a joy to both me, kobi and the other children. Your pre school teachers are so lucky to have you. 🥰💖

Oh I will miss you, sweet little foot. My original mindee, the one who helped me shape my home nursery, into the setting it is today. When we started out together in April 2024 you have accompanied me on this incredible journey, through smiles, laughter, sometimes tears and lots of joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your precious, not so little anymore child. I couldn't have asked for a better family to have worked with these past 7 terms.

Our book of the week was 'On the farm'
🚜 We then all got to visit Applecast farm on Thursday with such lovely, friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend you go visit them, if you haven't already been.
🎓On Wednesday at playgroup we had our graduation party for children moving to pre school and starting Reception, then we had a picnic lunch
💖We had a second taster session with one of our new friends for September
⭐️Inbetween all our exciting activities we are still working away.
✂️Practicing our cutting skills, hand eye coordination activities,
🛝moving our bodies physically on large scale apparatus, (gross motor)
🧩 and fine motor activities too

⭐️We released our butterflies in two stages when they were ready.. It has been fascinating watching the metamorphosis. 🐛🦋

✏️We drew butterflies on our sketch boards.
✂️Cut tape to colour our large scale art piece
🪵Built dens at the hive
👨‍👧We had a summer theme at playgroup
💖Welcomed a new friend for a taster session

We are always practicing our hand eye coordination life skills... like lots of pouring water so that we can pour milk from a jug. Finger gym activities so that we can hold a pen to mark make comfortably.

This week has seen some extreme hot weather. We have had lots of water play in the morning under the gazebo in the shade. In the afternoon we stayed inside with the air con unit on. Completing more sedatory activities and plenty of drinks and icepops to keep our bodies cool. We also made the decision not to visit the hive this week due to the vast open space but we hope to return next week.

We have been busy creating our Father's day cards for Sunday 🎨

Continuing to observe our 5 🐛 that today started the miraculous process of metamorphosis. Predicted and printed what we thought our butterflies would look like. Sorted the minibeasts by their appearance and searched for them on out minibeast hunt.

Celebrated England's win with a special World Cup childminder playgroup session 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We throughly enjoyed supporting our siblings and friends at their sports day 🏅

And we picked our first homegrown strawberries 🍓

As some of my children will be starting school in September. I have had a few spaces opening up. Some have already been filled but I do have one space still available. I accept the 15 and 30 hours funding. Do you have a child starting school or preschool in September 2027?
