WHAT A WEEKEND. 🔴⚫

August Bank Holiday 2026 was one of the biggest weekends of the year for KSS.

Across 2 countries, our teams were deployed across 6 major festivals, with 875 staff out supporting some of the UK & Ireland’s largest events.

From bars and stages to campsites, production areas, sponsorship, response and bus operations, our teams worked across multiple areas of event delivery, helping keep customers, staff, artists and operations moving safely throughout the weekend.

A huge amount of planning, coordination and hard work goes into delivering a weekend of this scale, both from the teams on the ground and those working behind the scenes.

10 years at Latitude. What a weekend. 🙌

Last weekend marked a huge milestone for KSS as we completed our 10th consecutive year delivering security at Latitude Festival, during the festival’s 20th anniversary.

By the numbers:

Our teams proudly delivered security across bars, sponsorship activations and boutique premium camping, helping support another fantastic weekend for both our client and festival-goers.

A huge thank you to every member of the KSS team for your professionalism, commitment and hard work throughout the event.

Finally, thank you to our client for another year of trust and partnership. Reaching our 10th year at Latitude is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we’re already looking forward to next year.

Slane Castle… what a weekend. 🇮🇪🤠

What an incredible few days supporting Luke Combs’ historic back-to-back shows at one of the most iconic concert venues in the world.

For the first time in Slane Castle’s history, two consecutive headline concerts were delivered across one weekend and KSS was proud to be part of it. 160,000 fans enjoyed the glorious weather and fantastic music 🎵

Over 120+ KSS Event Security Officers travelled to Ireland to help deliver the event safely, working in challenging temperatures, managing huge crowds and supporting one of the biggest live music productions of the summer.

Massive shout out to our operations crews, logistics and most importantly the boots on the ground.

JUNE RECAP:

We’re incredibly proud to share that June was a record-breaking month for KSS NW LTD in our festivals and concerts sector.

From Download through to a packed run of festivals and concerts across the UK and Ireland, our teams have been out in force delivering event security, crowd management and operational support at scale.

June by the numbers:

✅ 27 events delivered
⏰ 93,500+ worked hours
👮‍♀️ 600+ security operatives deployed
📍 Up to 6 major festivals running on the same weekend
🇬🇧 🇮🇪 Across 2 countries
☕️ 10,000+ cups of coffee consumed….although we’re fairly sure the real number is higher.

Behind every one of those numbers is a person: on a gate, on a barrier line, in a control room, on a radio, walking miles across site, solving problems before most people even know they exist.

It was busy. It was intense. It was challenging. It was also a brilliant example of what this team can do.

And we haven’t exactly eased into July either.

We’re already back out delivering across Finsbury Park Concerts, Crystal Palace Concerts, Slane Castle in Ireland, Latitude and more…

A huge thank you to every single member of the KSS team our security operatives, supervisors, managers, operations team and central office team who helped make June our biggest month yet.

We are Proud of the team. Proud of the delivery. Proud of the standards.

Last night was a really proud moment for us at KSS NW LTD.

We took home the award for Best Security / Crowd Management at the Event Production Show Awards 2026. 🏆

Earlier this year we also won at the Festival Supplier Awards, which means we’re now 2 from 2 for festival security and crowd management awards in 2026.

For a company that spends most of its time behind the scenes helping events run safely, recognition like this means a lot.

But the awards aren’t really about us as a company they’re about the people.

The planners writing the crowd management plans.
The operations managers coordinating complex sites.
And most importantly the teams on the ground, working long hours at festivals and major events across the UK and Ireland making sure people have a safe and enjoyable experience.

It was also great to be nominated alongside some fantastic companies in our sector Stambridge Group , The Event Safety Shop , ResponSec Ltd , SGC Security Services , K4 Group of Companies the standard of safety and professionalism across the industry is incredibly high. It’s always great to work alongside these great firms.

A big thank you to the event organisers, production teams and partners who trust us to work alongside them.

We are incredibly proud to announce that KSS NW LTD has won Best Crowd Management & Security at the Festival Supplier Awards 2026.

The judges praised KSS for outstanding skill, consistency, and safeguarding impact across complex live events, describing our work as setting the benchmark for best practice in crowd management and security.

Most importantly, this win belongs to our officers, supervisors, managers, and support teams the people who turn planning into action and standards into reality.

Thank you to the Festival Supplier Awards judges, our trusted clients and partners, and everyone who continues to put their faith in KSS.

As Christmas is upon us, we’d like to take a moment to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

As we wrap up another incredible year, it’s only right we reflect on what the team has achieved in 2025 and what a year it’s been:

✅ 450+ retail stores kept safe and secure. That’s a lot of Grinches deterred! 🛍️
✅ 67 festivals covered, protecting over 2+million punters across the UK & beyond. 🎪
✅ 350+ newly trained staff, fully equipped with the skills, knowledge (and coffee tolerance) to deliver at the highest standard. 📚
✅ International expansion 🌍✈️

📞 While many switch off for the holidays, our Control Room and Support Teams continue working throughout the festive period to keep operations running smoothly thank you for your dedication behind the scenes.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that KSS NW LTD has been shortlisted for Best Crowd Management & Security at the Festival Supplier Awards 2026.

This recognition means a great deal to our team.
2025 was a landmark year for KSS, delivering safeguarding-led security and crowd management across 57 festivals and outdoor events throughout the UK and Ireland.

From Glastonbury and Electric Picnic, to the BBC’s Big Weekend and Oasis at Heaton Park, our teams worked tirelessly to deliver safe, welcoming and well-managed environments for millions of festivalgoers.

Being shortlisted is an honour and it’s a testament to our teams on the ground, who show professionalism, compassion and dedication during every shift.
