Further on New Boiler Cover
Further to my last email detailing the new Boiler and Home cover - if you wish to apply you can contact the Home Insurance team (same number) on 0333 777 0221, OR you can simply apply in the Clubhouse online (it takes about five minutes). There are a few fairly basic questions to answer. Remember that the Utility Warehouse cover offers more than it's main competitors (e.g. British Gas, Home Serve and Corgi) for less money.

Refer-A-Friend Shopping Vouchers
I haven't mentioned this for a while but do remember that I can organise some shopping vouchers for you - if you introduce me to anyone else who would like to look at saving with Utility Warehouse. Providing they apply for a 'Gold' package - you will qualify. To be honest, most people these days are applying for a minimum of 4 services anyway because the incentives are so great! There are quite a few of you who have already benefited from the shopping vouchers and are continuing to receive good amounts every Christmas! (It's usually a one-off £20 plus £10 EVERY Christmas for as long as the member stays with the company.)
Please try not to let them go through the company directly though because this may not work and they won't benefit from personal service from me!

Finally, with the cost of Energy due to increase again in April (many of you will have received letters / emails) - where possible I recommend that you get on to the one year fixed rate which is available to customers who have all services (including at least one mobile SIM). If this is not an option for you then the only other ways to save on your Energy with us are via cashback or the 10% Gas discount that comes with the new boiler cover. It's always still worthwhile getting in touch with me or the company before you make a decision however, because it may be the case that you have been over-paying due to estimated bills anyway. So, we can take up to date readings from you and look at the possibilities. I hope that's helpful.

Newcomer Octopus Energy is the only gas and electricity firm to be a Which? Recommended Provider for 2018. The biggest energy company survey of its kind, this year it has results for 31 energy companies in England, Scotland and Wales. It reveals what nearly 9,000 of their customers really think of their gas and electricity supplier – and is a unique guide to help you find the best firm for you. The Big Six energy firms did poorly this year, compared with smaller firms. We found that just a third of their customers (32%) say they are very satisfied, compared with 52% of medium energy companies’ customers and 45% of small suppliers’ customers.
