Most people who know Chris Hardy EngTech MIET, Tech IOSH and Kate Hardy AIIRSM TMIFPO Tech IOSH, know how they feel about giving back to the community. After a chance encounter in a local shop, Gecko High Voltage Specialists Ltd & Gecko Health and Safety offered to contribute towards a community project that offered Christmas lunch (including transport) and a treat to those people in the community who would otherwise be alone on Christmas day. We recently received photos and an email of thanks, (not needed but gratefully received!). This team of volunteers had done an excellent job of raising funds with other local businesses and then been hit with some unexpected costs. We were happy to jump in and cover those. What might feel like a drop in the ocean for some, can mean the world of difference to others. Big thanks to Peter for the photos
