Debbie's Wellness & Weight Loss Hub Hi, I'm Debbie! A fun, friendly, Expert Level 1:1 Diet Consultant with 10 years’ experience. I felt fat and frumpy and my confidence was at rock bottom.

I have been a yoyo dieter for what seems like forever! Constantly changing from one fad to the next, from cabbage soup to caveman, and never finding the answer! I lived in black, hated clothes shopping, dreaded the party season where my friends would all look

stunning in their pretty dresses and the thought of a beach holiday was simply terrifying! I was feeling just like this at a party when I was stunned by a friend of mine who looked incredible! I asked her what her secret was and she told me about Cambridge Weight Plan (CWP) and The 1:1 Diet. I called her consultant and started my journey the very next day! Within a few months I was at my target weight, able to fit into size 10 skinny jeans and able to wear a bikini on holiday, two of my main goals! The feeling was amazing! My confidence has soared, I have more energy, I sleep better and I even enjoy shopping! Not Just Shakes! The 1:1 Diet is far more than shakes! There are scrummy soups, pasta, rice and noodle meals, porridges, chocolate and yoghurt bars and smoothies (and the most yummy chocolate bites you could imagine!) There is a plan for everyone and healthy food can be part of many of the steps. All of our products are nutritionally balanced and have all the vitamins and minerals you need to keep you bouncing! I'm a bit of a diet and nutrition fan and when it was suggested I should become a Consultant (cheerer-onner!), I jumped at the chance! I just need some pom-poms! The Next Step

✨Keep working on getting your thought process away from I’ve been β€˜good’ or β€˜bad’, so you’re neither β€˜in’ or β€˜out’, just keep trying to do your very best.
✨If you have fallen down, brush yourself off, take a deep breath, and then try to get straight back up. Keep making sure that you get out of your own way. You are your biggest hurdle. Not other people. You.
✨If you have one flat tyre, do you slash the other three?
✨Failing is part of the progress and there is only one way to improve, and that's trying again.
✨Just keep moving forward one day at a time, one meal at a time. One foot in front of the other.
✨Overall, be kind to yourself, and never, ever give up, or lose sight of your goal or what it represents - improved health. Mentally and physically. Now that’s worth fighting for!
✨Nobody is perfect, nor is this journey. It wasn’t supposed to be, or has to be, to be successful
Remember:
✨You are entirely up to YOU!
✨The best project you will ever work on is YOU!
✨Wake up with determination, go to bed with satisfaction
✨Prioritise YOU and your goals, you’re worth the effort!

1. Increased Metabolism – Your body burns more calories to maintain core temperature in colder weather, giving you a slight metabolic advantage.
2. Comfort Food Alternatives – While winter foods can be heavy, there are plenty of healthy, warming options, like porridge or soups, that can keep you satisfied while staying on track.
3. Less Social Pressure – Compared to summer, when holidays and social gatherings often involve indulgent foods, winter tends to have fewer temptations (except for the festive period!).
4. Time for Meal Prep – Shorter days and more time indoors can make it easier to cook at home, plan meals on step 2 and above, and establish healthy habits.
5. Preventing Winter Weight Gain – Many people gain weight in the winter due to reduced activity and comfort eating. Starting a diet now helps you avoid that cycle and helps you to be ahead of the game for spring.
6. Boosting Mood & Energy – Eating a nutritious diet helps combat seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and the sluggishness that often comes with winter ❄️

No matter what went down today ... tomorrow is a new day!
Fear of being a failure can flood your mind and it can feel overwhelming.
If you experience weight going in the wrong direction, it is essential to reflect on where you are at and what you need to work on.
For example, do you need to:
- Stop the mindless grazing
- Increase your exercise (even just a 10 min walk a day is a great place to start)
- Improve your hydration (working towards minimum of 2.25 litres of water a day)
- Increase your Step 2 protein or products while on plan to help combat hunger
- keep well away from sugar (the plan is sweet enough!) and refined carbs
Get back on track and refocus on smashing your goals! ✨
