I got it as a Secret Santa gift over 6 years ago and I’d be heartbroken if it ever broke! 😅 It’s become that mug, the one I always reach for without even thinking about it.

Advice/Tips: I'm hoping to set up a mailing system to send out monthly offers/ discounts but have no idea where to start. I can make it look pretty but need some advice on how I do it/ legalities/ preffered systems - MailChimp etc?

Any tips from people already doing similar would be AMAZING!

Having one day off has made me "Out of sorts" this week (read why below)!

It was all worth it because I had the BEST time at Blists Hill Victorian Town! 🥰✨

And, of course, the Printing Press Shop was one of my favourite stops. There’s something so fascinating about seeing how things were printed before the technology we have today!

I also learned the story behind the phrase “out of sorts” and now I’ll never hear it quite the same way! 😂

Back then, individual letters were called “sorts.” When setting type, a printer could run out of a particular letter before finishing a job, leaving them literally “out of sorts.” Over time, the phrase came to mean feeling unwell, grumpy or not quite yourself.

How brilliant is that?! 🖨️📖

I absolutely love discovering little pieces of everyday history like this. Blists Hill really does bring the past to life! ❤️
