Commiserations to Me Lovely Jo-Jo, my best friend, soulmate and much better half, after her disappointing result at Plymouth today. We can't be good at everything, and I know that pressure always took a toll on you.

It's a crying shame, because I've seen you teach academic subjects at all levels, and I know what a damn fine job that you'd have made as an ADI. You're an amazing teacher and you'd have made an amazing driving instructor. But onwards and upwards, you've got three degrees, you don't need an ADI as well, that would just be showing off.

I am, always have been, and always will be, so very proud of you ###

Huge congratulations go to Zara from Boscastle on her excellent first time pass at Bodmin today.

"Your parallel park was epic" (I think that was the term the examiner used) and you saved his life with a first class emergency stop when that lady pulled out in front of you - I'll be searching for the dash cam footage later!

Well done Zara, all your hard work paid off. It was a privilege to have been able to have helped.
