One of the things we love about running Soror Pro Consulting is the freedom to build a business around what makes us happy, working with great people, meeting new businesses, building relationships and helping others achieve their goals.

And we genuinely believe that happiness makes a difference to the work you do.

When you enjoy what you do, feel valued and are passionate about your work, it shows. You go that extra mile, look for opportunities to improve and strive for excellence.

The same applies to the people you employ. If your team isn’t happy or motivated, it’s much harder for them to give their best.

✨ HER CIRCLE IS COMING TO HARROGATE! ✨

Join us on Friday 6th November Pavilions of Harrogate for a morning of connection, collaboration, creativity and conversation.

Her Circle is for women in business, solopreneurs, start-ups and freelancers who want to meet other women, share ideas, discover opportunities and build genuine connections.

And we’re doing networking a little differently…

We’ll be joined by some fantastic women, including artist and Leeds Drawing Club founder Ellie Andrews who’ll be talking about how to run a business and stay creative something we think many business owners will relate to!

🏆 SUPER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Wakefield Trinity on an incredible victory over Warrington Wolves yesterday and becoming 2026 Super League Champions! 🎉

We were lucky enough to work with Wakefield Trinity last year as they launched and developed their Conferencing & Events business, helping to promote the opportunities the club and its fantastic facilities could offer businesses and organisations.

So to see where the club is now and to see them lift that trophy makes us incredibly proud!

What an achievement and what a season.

It was great to attend the Supporter Open House and see the amazing work has done with the space. It looks fantastic and is such a brilliant environment to support and empower more women as they get back into work.

One of the things we love most about Soror Pro Consulting is the people we meet along the way.

Working with other business owners, collaborating with women in business, sharing ideas, making introductions and bringing different skills to the table can create opportunities that simply wouldn’t happen working in isolation.

We don’t believe in having all the answers. Sometimes the best thing you can do is ask, listen, share and work together.

And that’s exactly the thinking behind Her Circle.

Along with Cathy M. I. N. D. T. H. R. E. A. D. S. our next Her Circle networking event is coming up on the morning of Friday 6th November Pavilions of Harrogate and we’re looking at networking a little differently, getting creative, having some fun and showing that you can absolutely be business-minded and creative all at the same time.

Supporting other women doesn’t mean putting your own business goals aside. We can be ambitious, commercially minded and still champion the women around us.

That’s the kind of circle we want to be part of.

An early start this morning at the Firefly Hub Breakfast Networking event at The West Park Hotel | Harrogate

A big thank you to the team for inviting me along. It was great to meet some like-minded business owners, make new connections and have the opportunity to explain a little more about what we do at Soror Pro Consulting.

It was fantastic to see so many small businesses thriving across such a diverse range of sectors. There was a real sense of collaboration, support and enthusiasm in the room.

Hopefully, this is the start of some great relationships where we can support, collaborate and help each other move forward.

Tuesday Throwback to the 90’s!

A little trip down memory lane to when we were slightly younger! Here’s Charlotte and Christina back in our school days.

Being sisters is an important part of Soror Pro Consulting, but what’s equally important is that we bring different skills, experience and perspectives to the table.

We don’t necessarily look at a business in the same way and that’s a good thing. We can look at where a business is now, where it wants to go and what it needs from different perspectives, then bring those views together to create a strong, coherent plan and strategy.

Whether that’s business development, marketing or communications, we work across sectors, with a particular focus on SMEs in events and hospitality and start-ups.

We can become an extension of your team, working alongside you on an ongoing basis, or come in for a specific project where you need an extra pair of hands or a fresh perspective.

Ultimately, we’re here to make a difference. And we’ll always be honest if we don’t think we’re the right people for the job because sometimes the best advice is knowing when to say so.

And yes… we’ll be sharing a few more throwbacks so you can get to know us a little better over the coming months!

Here’s a little more about Christina – one half of Soror Pro Consulting!

Christina has a varied background spanning television, education and the charitable sector, giving her a wealth of transferable skills and experience working with a wide range of organisations, people and audiences.

At Soror, Christina focuses on research, database systems, marketing and social media, helping clients understand their audiences, stay organised and communicate effectively.

We’ll be sharing a little more about both of us and how we work with clients over the coming months, so keep an eye out!

Who says a business meeting has to happen around a boardroom table?

Sometimes, the best ideas come when you step away from the desk!

This week, we decided to have our Soror Pro Consulting catch-up and plan everything we’re up to between now and Christmas… by going wild swimming at 🏊‍♀️🌿

A slightly different way to have a meeting, but actually the perfect opportunity to chat, think, plan and catch up without the usual distractions of emails, phones and endless screens.

And yes… we did actually get some work done!

Running a business can be busy, so sometimes changing your surroundings is exactly what you need to get a fresh perspective.

Now we’re feeling refreshed, refocused and ready for a busy few months ahead!

We’re delighted to be working with the team at Sterling Event Group supporting their continued growth across Yorkshire and the wider region.

Charlotte recently had the pleasure of visiting the Sterling Event Group Showcase 2026 in Manchester and we were blown away! 🤩

From immersive production set-ups and lighting and rigging demonstrations to audio, video and full-service event production, the Showcase was an incredible insight into the scale, expertise and creativity behind the Sterling brand.

What stood out most was the passion and knowledge across every department, alongside the meticulous organisation behind the scenes. From equipment being cleaned and tested after every event to precise labelling and dispatch, it was clear that attention to detail is at the heart of everything they do.

People who know their craft. Technology that delivers. A genuine passion for creating extraordinary experiences.

We’re incredibly excited to support Sterling as they continue to grow and to see what the future holds for this fantastic partnership!
