Check out the latest security article from WIRED on how contactless fingerprinting can help with law enforcements when gathering data for an ongoing case.

One 2017 biometrics review by the FBI and other US government staff says contactless fingerprinting would potentially allow people’s prints to be collected faster and more efficiently than by existing methods. By using smartphone cameras, police wouldn’t need mobile fingerprint readers nor would they need to take people to stations to collect their prints.

Ensure you have a lock-up routine or if not, create one!

Having a set routine on how to effectively lock-up with ensure that yourself and your members of staff are able to lock-up everytime and prevent an easy break-in.

Creating a plan of action is often recommended. Whether this is creating a set of instructions on what needs to be locked, creating a specifically secured cabinet to lock up laptops or even lowering all your blinds will remove the temptations of local thieves.
