🕷️🚨 Halloween Safety Reminder from Your Local Security Team 🎃
As the ghosts and goblins come out tonight, a few simple steps can help keep everyone safe:
🔐 Secure Your Property:
If you’re out trick-or-treating or at an event, lock doors, windows, and vehicles. Opportunistic crime can spike on busy nights.
💡 Light It Up:
Keep pathways and entryways well-lit — it deters unwanted visitors and helps trick-or-treaters see where they’re going.
📸 CCTV & Doorbells:
Make sure cameras and video doorbells are working — they can be a great deterrent and provide reassurance.
🚷 Be Aware of Strangers:
Don’t let unknown individuals into your home or property. If in doubt, keep your door closed and contact the police or your local security team.
📞 Report Suspicious Activity:
If something doesn’t look right, report it. Non-emergency: 101.
Emergency: 999.
🎭 Community First:
Check in on elderly or vulnerable neighbours — Halloween can be unsettling for some.
Stay alert, stay kind, and have a safe, spooky night! 👻
