Today was all about investigating a gas fire that’s filling a room with fumes....far far too many years without a service and what turned out to be about 20ft of birds nest! She’s lucky to be alive but a bit of time and effort got it going again! AND poor old Henry gave up the ghost too!!!

The last emergency boiler change of the year done ( hopefully)... a lovely old couple in their 90s back warm again......... mind you dear customers if you have a dog that’s as big and angry and ferocious as this one please keep it under control 😉

Today was all about upgrading the old controls that you actually have to get out of your chair to alter!!! No need for that anymore!

Moving on from old radiators to new solar unvented cylinder installation. Just in time for summer ☀️☀️☀️ ( ahem!!). Got to love a big job and doing your bit for the planet.

Today is out with old and in with the ..... er old!
Shiny chrome towel rail out and a fully refurbished original old cast iron radiator in. Cold bathroom to baking hot.

If you want to extract the best performance and maybe some discount from your friendly gasman then cheese and pickle on toast ( other lunches are available) and a brew is the best way to do it.

Today’s exercise is power flushing a 7 small radiator system ready for the new boiler. A before and after picture says it all with the sludge now removed ready for the radiators to do their job properly along with the new boiler.
