As a salesman of over 30 years, I find this interesting. Is it because sales people tend to be seen as slimy? ny more. For most, this is not the kind of description they would want of themselves. Plus, if you have chosen to work in a caring profession, like dentistry, you probably didn’t expect to be told you have to become a sales person! In my view, selling is easy. In fact, it is so easy anyone can do it. That is, anyone who can hold a sensible conversation can make a sale. Actually, if you do it correctly, the buyer buys… you don’t sell! The good news is that when the buyer does the buying of their own free will, the only likely objection they will have is whether they can afford it or not. By working alongside you and your team I will try to help those shy of sales, as well as those who want to make more sales, more easily. Through a series of examples, explanations exercises and video feedback, we will break down the fear of selling and help you see just how easily you can help a Patient buy what they want, without you feeling guilty.
