The girl who built Musenote.

Looking back through old photos, one thing stands out: I never really stopped creating.

As a kid, it was arts and crafts, making things from whatever I could find, and later it became music. I was always drawn to creating, building, and bringing ideas to life.

A few years ago, I found myself in a career that didn’t feel right. While teaching, I realised the parts of my day I enjoyed most weren’t in the classroom; they were the creative projects, the marketing, the design work, and helping people tell their stories.

So I took a leap and started Musenote Creative.

What began as a passion project has grown into a business that allows me to combine everything I love: design, content creation, branding, strategy, and working with ambitious people and businesses.

The journey hasn’t been straightforward, and there’s still a long way to go. But when I look at these photos, I realise the person building Musenote today is the same creative kid she’s always been.

Just with a laptop instead of a glue stick.

I can’t lie, creating graphic design pieces has to be my favourite thing to do, especially when it comes to motorsport and automotive content.🏎️

Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to work with drivers and automotive businesses on social media graphics, sponsorship proposals, brochures, and other promotional materials. Alongside client work, I’ve also spent time creating personal concept designs to develop my skills and explore new creative ideas.

I genuinely enjoy bringing ideas to life through design and helping drivers and businesses be brought to life through eye catching pieces!

Lately I've been trying to learn more about videography and content creation.

This 20-second cinematic morning video was shot entirely on my phone using the Blackmagic Camera app.

I'm definitely not a master at it yet, and there's still a lot for me to learn, but one thing I'm starting to realise is that you don't always need the latest camera, expensive lenses, or the fanciest kit to create something you're proud of.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking better equipment is the missing piece. More often than not, the biggest difference comes from simply starting, experimenting, and developing your skills over time.

Sometimes I forget that iPhones nowadays are incredibly powerful and that the best investment isn't new gear, it's learning how to get the most out of what you already have.

While I love my little agency it hasn’t come without it’s flaws….

✨It’s no secret that I’m new to this world of running a social media business all on my own and in the age of social media it’s hard not to compare yourself and your work to other amazing social media agencies out there.

✨But what I’m learning is everyone has to start somewhere and as long as I keep showing up, being creative and doing the best I can possibly do, I’m heading in the right direction.

So for anyone else trying to make a better life for themselves and dive into this world of social media….. it gets easier 🫶🏼

I’ve been a little MIA lately… 👀

And honestly? Running your own brand while managing everyone else’s can be a lot harder than it looks.

This month has been FULL… onboarding new clients, building this little business of mine, creating content behind the scenes, answering emails, planning strategies… all while trying to remember to actually show up for my own socials too 🫠

The truth is, I’m still learning balance.

Learning when to prioritise my own brand.
Learning when to switch off.
Learning that being a social media manager doesn’t mean you magically have it all figured out 24/7.

I think a lot of people assume social media managers are constantly organised, constantly posting, constantly “on” but sometimes we get caught up helping everyone else grow that we neglect ourselves a little in the process.

So here’s your little life update from me 🤍

I’m still here.
Still creating.
Still building something I’m really proud of.

And hopefully this month, I’ll be a little more present around here ✨
